Action ACT100 Pool Cue

04Full review

The Action ACT100 Pool Cue is built for players who want dependable performance without the premium price tag, making it a smart pick for home game rooms, rec centers, and anyone just getting serious about their game. Crafted with a straight-grain hardwood shaft and a sturdy hardwood forearm, this cue delivers the stiffness and feel that billiards players look for when lining up shots. The traditional design keeps things simple and functional, avoiding unnecessary frills while still offering a clean, attractive look that fits any pool table setup, whether it's a sleek modern table or a classic wood-finished model in a traditional game room.

What makes the ACT100 stand out in its class is the attention to balance and construction. The cue features a durable Irish linen wrap on the grip, providing players with a comfortable, non-slip hold even during long games or heated tournament play. This wrap style has long been favored by cue makers for its ability to absorb moisture and maintain consistent grip texture over time. Paired with a standard leather tip, the cue offers responsive contact with the cue ball, helping players execute both soft touch shots and powerful breaks with confidence. The joint construction is solid, reducing vibration and ensuring that the energy from your stroke transfers efficiently into the shot.

For players building out a game room dedicated to billiards, darts, and arcade entertainment, the Action ACT100 Pool Cue serves as a reliable, no-nonsense tool that won't let you down game after game. It's an especially good match for casual players, students, or families who want a quality cue that doesn't require a steep investment but still performs like a serious piece of equipment. Easy to maintain and built to handle regular use, this cue holds up well in both home settings and social venues like bars, lounges, or community centers. Whether you're racking up for a friendly match or practicing your technique, the ACT100 brings consistency and solid craftsmanship to every shot you take.
